After several years in the accounting department of a major electrical distributor, Amy Barrett made a bold career move into sales with a commercial lighting manufacturer’s representative agency. It was there she discovered her passion for exceptional client service—an approach that would ultimately define her career. In a commodity-driven industry, Amy quickly learned that outstanding service is what truly sets you apart.

In response to the economic downturn of 2012, Amy returned to school to pursue her accounting degree while working full-time at a small Roswell-based firm. After earning her degree and passing the CPA exam, she took a major leap—purchasing the very firm where she had worked for seven years and officially launching her own practice in July 2019.

From day one, Amy built her firm around a simple yet powerful philosophy: treat clients like friends, not numbers. With a client-first mindset, she customizes services to meet each client’s unique needs. Today, the firm serves a wide range of businesses including realtors, property management companies, construction services, and restaurants. Amy and her team also bring valuable experience working with estates, trusts, nonprofits, and individuals with international activities.

In 2025, Amy acquired James Wheeler’s practice and is already in the process of acquiring another firm—marking a period of exciting growth and expansion for her business.

When she's not working with clients, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading a good book, and taking on the occasional home improvement project.
